Providence/Everywhere – Gobbins leading us to glory – July 19th 09

We gathered in g-g early euro afternoon and had a pretty nice gang: 25 people, about 10 vagas, 8 logistics, buncha cerbs/ishtars and one pulse zealot.

Ignoring blueball curse alltogether, we head straight towards provi. Buncha kills are harvested on the ways thanks to hero cheetah strcuture-tanking and other shenanigans. Finally we get to 9uy after checking all the hostposts one the way but noone wants to fight us.

We bubble the station and kill retards that are warping in. Even a Rev comes in at some point but he got dragged by the bubble into dock range so welp.

We decide to move off and check other hotspots: kbp then back to d-g, each time we get a few kills on the way or at station/belts then keep rolling. Still no fights. We continue to hed where we kill a bunch of aaa pet camping sv5 gate without a scout.

After that we head back to 9uy again sure we will get a blob this time. Again blueballs so we keep ganking and go camp their empire entry to force their hand (was suggested by some folks in gang chat). Didnt force jack shit but got us a few kills. FINALLY A GOD APPEARS. Its BH with the intel from CVA channels.

BH reports that a large 40 man TCF HAC gang is in d-g. I decide those are good odds and we burn to the system. As we approach BH reprots the hostiles reported are now 60, but says they assume its them (40) + our vagas (20) which are now close. When we arrive to d-g gate tcf jumps into us and we start raping them (vagas with 8 logistics against LR hacs boosh). However few minutes in the fight more hostiles start to appear: its the fricking NC coming to add more to the blob. Logistics are starting to get overwhelemed and we burn + warp away.

Local is at 80 now, 20 is us. We try some more warpings to kill stragglers at planets but theres some piloting failure there so we end up trading 2 hacs for a lachesis. Hostiles decide to leave and we gank 2 stragglers on the way out. Final K/D for this fight is:

70 vs 29 we killed 24 lost 13 <- I think its p good

After that we decided to chase the hostiles split up and with the 12 or so people I had left we decide to follow MM and kill their stragglers. We manage to catch a few of them but our dps is so low that their gang manages to double back before we kill them. I decide we shuld stay and fight (we still have 6 logistics). This is a bad idea as we get nuked – losing 3 ships for no kills as we try to run. I get angry at the faggot logistics for not having the FC on watchlist and the roam ends.

Counting from killboard we killed a total of 75 ships, not counting pods, in our little trip so GJ all
