Clown Punchers get word of a gang coming down the pipe towards EF. Seems Resurrection has pushed the rock from in front of the cave and are coming back for another round after the last stomping we gave them. This time they are running with some heavier ships, they aren’t talking as much, and they aren’t as froggy as they seem to want to stay huddled on the EF gate in P-N instead of jumping in to EF and running their mouths like last time.
BOZO forms up a modest fleet, the Resurrection ladies have a Myrmidon sitting on the P-N gate in EF huffing and puffing. He jumps out when we land on the gate. We take that time to get eyes on them in P-N, reconfirming their ship types.
Ressurection Fleet: Scorp (at range), Raven x2, Domi, Cane x2, Myrm x2, Prophecy all on the EF gate in P-N.
Clown Punchers Fleet: Absolution, Sac, Muninn, Harb x2, Cane, Prophecy, BB
We jump in our fleet, letting our heavy tankers decloak first. Primaries are called and away we go. Cane’s go first, paper thin DPS, they both die with in seconds of the fight kicking off, now we move to the Myrm’s. They drop quick. At this point we get some help from a couple blues in some light tackle ships.
The Cane’s and Myrm’s are killed and off the field with in a minute of the fight starting. Our BB gets some key jams on their battleships and warps out. The Raven is called next, at this point their Scorp and Prophecy have left the field and their other Raven and Domi are already deagressed due to the jams. Poor spreading of our tackle lets the other BS warp out, we should of had more, but all in all, we can’t complain. The Hurricane’s having faction hardeners made us all chuckle.
The fight with Resurrection is over as fast as it starts. In just under 2 minutes we kill 2 Hurricanes, 2 Myrmidons, 1 Raven, and the rest of their fleet escapes the massacre. No sooner have the Resurrection ladies fled, a gang of T1 Psychotic Tendencies lands on our position. We being calling primaries as they engage.
The flurry of primary calling is rapid, the T1 cruisers are popping as fast the names are being called. Though the T1 cruiser kills aren’t worth much, most of the ships were T2 fit, so the spoils were worth taking to the loot hangar.
The end result was 16 kills, no losses, bellies full of some okayish T2 loot … not bad for 5 minutes worth of work.
