OOOOPs sorry Atlas we killed your back up

After a few quiet months away from the front line, roaming.  A CTA was finally called to pop a tower that was coming out of RF.  It was only a small mining tower belonging to ZAF but the alliance leadership told us they were hoping it would provoke a fight.

So a Snipe BS and support fleet was formed, almost 60 BS and various logistics and support some 130 in total with our friends from C0ven and the klingons.

We moved to TCAG and began the short work of incapping guns whilst the last 20 mins of the timer ran out.  Scouts in the surrounding systems reported a 60 strong Tri BS gang around but still a few jumps away so we finished off the tower.  As the last few pixels of structure were bleeding into red the TRI gang was in the next door system.  FC called for support on the gate and snipers into position.  The Tri gang jumped in and we began to fight.  Primaries were called constantly for 25-30 mins, the support doing a fine jump of tackling the TRI ships so we could melt them.  Finally the remaining TRI managed to slip away from our tacklers and to safety.

We cleared the field of loot and wrecks and began to walk back home.  Just before we get back our FC says hold on guys, take a break we have more work to do.  Apparently TRI were heading out to assist Atlas who were camped into TN25.  So a temporary truce was called and we head out to rescue Atlas from the evil clutches of the fachist GOONS!!  This went without a hitch as the goons strongest attack was some smacking in local.

By the end of the battle is would appear there were a similar number of kills on both sides, TRI losing BS’s and us losing support (in the main)
