BLACK RISE – NENNAMAILA 2 VS 3 ENDS WELL FOR A CHANGE . 2009.08.25 20:56

Well the corp I’m in namely black.wind is just a small 3 man corp , my self and a friend and our scout alt which in this fight wasn’t even logged in .
We tend to be always out numbered in faction warfare , but to be honest its still fun to pick off a few small ships then run if we have too , like maybe losing say a cruiser that’s worth 6 mill but killing say 109 mills worth of assault frig makes the lose worth it.

Anyway its nearly 9 o clock on the 25th august and me and silver83 are flyig the pipe from old man star to nennamaila witch is where we live. Recently a large number of gallente militia have moved into the same system as where we live and its made for some good fights but also allot of bad baiting tactics and blobbing 2 guys looking for a fair-ish fight (us). So i   my maelstrom as it was nearing the end of its insurance time and guessing by the fact there was 18 in local and that id get a fight and it would get destroyed that evening, my corp mate who for a large amount of the time in around our home system always flew a caracal fitted to kill frigs and assault frigs and he has done this many times well .
So I’m sitting on the undock point a small ship undocks and i begin to lock it and well it docks no surprise there even tho it could of left easy , my corp mate silver83 is still with me and is in his tech 1 cruiser (caracal), anyway the frig redocked and they out came a Sacrilege and began to mess with my corp mate and mwd to the top of the station out my gun range , for now so he aggroses me and i fire a few shots of at him and low and be hold Phobos and Hyperion undock , what a surprise lol ….
At this point being truthfully 3 vs 1 i was thinking this isn’t going to go well but ill test my tank and see what happens and watching the damage come in from the hyp , the sac and the Phobos i realised i could tank them well , at this point my corp mate silver has undockd in his ishtar and i say over ts ” fuck it even if i die this gonna be fun and I’m taking something with me”.
Primary was the sac which came within 10km of me and when loaded the republic emp . went down  real quick between me and my corp mates ogre 2, next was the Phobos which at this point we realise isn’t focus pointing me or silver83 the Phobos pilot gets called primary next and starts to try and head away over the top of the station and de-aggress, i overload the rack and he pops a few shots later .
Only ship left is the Hyperion which at this point i was right on top of it to try and lower the damage and well move him away from the docking point , having run out of republic emp large and having about 300 rounds of tech 2 ammo left and at the point i got his tank down to a point where it was starting to break i was out of ammo , i never had a idea the ship would last longer than 10 mins with the number in local but that was the idea get it blown up having fun ! .
The Hyperion’s tank was good and was tanking me and my corp mate well even if i had the right ammo well even if i had more tech 2 ammo he probably could of deagressed in the time it would of took for us to take him down .

All in all probably one the best fights we have had around there in a good while and you may say nothing wonderful about this fight well maybe not but the fact that during the fight i looked in local and counted around about 20 Gallente militia in local and they was active , these 3 pilots even tho it was 3 vs the 2 of us , fought us and didn’t call in the other 17 or so friends to help them out, ….. this is rare these days .. and it give them mad props for not calling in there back up and thanks for a good fight on my last day in black rise ..
