Khanid – Defence of the Jewgold and PANDEMIC HONOUR

So this is the start of 2 hours of some terribly laggy bullshit.  PL formed up in lowsec to bridge sniper bs over to some shitty system in w/e lowsec region all these fights were in.  Bridge goes up and we start heading to Irmalin to get ready for a fight.  SOT comes along for this one and join up with us somewhere along the line with hacs and stuff, I don’t remember when.  We get to our pos and start sorting out fleet bullshit while Waffles and some Goons start joining in for the fun.

Local has risen to some number I don’t remember by this point but probably around 300-400 and then proceeds to rise even further when I think -A- comes in and eventually tops out at like 860 or so.  I don’t know the exact order they came in but we ended up facing -A- dreads, SYS-K bs fleet, some DICE and some IT Alliance with SOT, Goons, and SniggWaffe on our side.  Atlas may have also been there but I don’t remember and I’m too lazy to check lossmails to see.

This is the spot where there’s supposed to be a nice shiny pic of a crapload of dreads shooting our tower but I made it too wide so it’s all over the recent battles and tags stuff.  You still get to see the pic just not yet.  Here’s a few periods to keep you occupied until it clears the sidebar stuff cuz I’m too lazy to resize it again

So we end up in our pos shields with hostile dreads, bs, and other various support ships outside of the shields.  Dreads at like 60km or so and bs at sniper range.  Targets are called and nothing died.  Lag kicked in and this is about the point where I no longer had any fucking clue what was going on other than knowing that hostile revs were happily pewing away at our tower without having to reload.  Fuck amarr.  I’m buzzing about in an interceptor trying to hold primaries but rubberbanding all over the fucking place and yeah lag was gay and I accomplished pretty much nothing other than getting myself shot at.

So 30 minutes later fc calls for us to warp off and we happen to land at 0 on a hostile megathron.  For the first time in 30 minutes I manage to lock something and we kill the mega.  Op successful.  We head out of the system and start heading for the next moon to try and defend in a system I forgot the name of.

The fight we had in this system was pretty fun. We head to the pos again with PL, SOT, and Waffles.  Goons may have also been there but I really don’t remember.  I don’t think they were there at this point.  -A- cynoes dreads in again and warps to the pos at like 40km.  With local at only 200 or so and them without support ships we manage to down 2 dreads before we warp off again.  We gank what I presume is a crashed dread, twiddle our thumbs for a bit, warp to snipe random shit on a gate, and lastly we somehow end up fighting a SYS-K (I think) gang on a planet(I think).  Shit’s being called primary and shit’s dying finally. Pretty much a somewhat short range(60-100km) slugfest between PL bs, whatever SOT brought, Waffles in tacklers and bombers vs SYS-K in pretty much the same type of fleet makeup.  It was pretty awesome.  Think we killed a lot of shit, probably lost a lot of shit as well(I haven’t checked battle report yet lol) and eventually I get podded.  At this point we pretty much don’t have much of anything left and the op is more or less over.

Battle reports are kinda fucked up cuz they show SniggWaffe as hostile and a lot of random people as friendly for some reason but you can look at shit I guess. we lost:
A fuckton of bs, some other shit, and at least 2 jewgolds. Three got reinforced but I have no idea wtf happened to the last one. Probably died as well.

Pretty fun except for the lagfest in the first system.  Would probably do a battle like the Irmalin one if the node was reinforced.  Would definitely do a repeat of the Zahesomething fight.   Also if I forgot anyone else that showed up, my bad.
