Agony Empire vs IT Alliance in 6-CZ49 -  2009-11-07

Agony Unleashed (www.agony-unleashed.com) had a PvP Basic class scheduled this morning that was well attended. PvP Basic theory typically covers basic game mechanics and fleet dynamics, amongst other things. After the theory portion of the class , a practical portion always follows, which is the basis of this report.

In the class today, we had sixty Frigate pilots that were yearning to learn their new found mechanic knowledge. Also tagging along were sixty to seventy alumni in cruisers or beyond, lets not forget to mention another fifty Agony pilots. Lets build suspense with the previous story….

We have had fights with IT Alliance before….

Christina Bamar (CEO):

This afternoon Agony Unleashed was bored,
Headed out in a 20 man BS fleet, all crew on board.
First stop was Huzzah, who we asked “pew pew?”
Their only response, “fak off,” so sad, boo hoo.

Hurt and rejected, next stop 6-C,
To ask for some fun, from the alliance of IT.
Great success, they started to form up on the gate,
30-40 members strong, without hardly a wait.

In they came and Agony yelled “run away!!”
Warping to safety, less our insurance does pay.
Off to the EZA gate, but yet, what is this?
Landing right in a bubble, did the FC’s click miss?

Not waiting a moment, not even a breath,
IT warped right after us, to shoot us to death.
Just as they landed, their Sabres uttered “Oh shit”
As Agony’s smartbombs started firing a bit.

More and more landed in the middle of the blast,
Quickly turning into nothing just a little too fast.
Bombing and bombing and bombing away,
Agony pilots bombing until their insurance did pay.

Not a pod did escape the Agony disco party,
We hoped you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did IT,
and if not we’re very sorry.

Happy Halloween everybody Very Happy

(Long story short, Agony lost 19 shit fit disco BS, killed 2 BS, 6 T2 cruisers, 2 BC, a command ship, 2 ceptors, and 2 dictors then promptly blew ourselves up with help from the rest of the IT gang. Was a great deal of fun, thanks for bringing a fight IT, hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did.)

That was then and this is now, so let’s complete the story of this magical Saturday. (heh)
We thought it would be a good follow-up to attempt to bait IT Alliance to attack us on our terms, but we would change things up a bit. We sent a bait group of fifteen remote repping battleships to the EZA gate in 6-CZ49 to get caught in a anchored bubble, purposely. The attempt was to have them second guess our intent and bide us some time to have two fleets of PvP Basic and Alumni to meet-up in a low-sec location for a Titan bridge. The plan was to have them expect a typical repeat performance of a bubble trap and Durka (think smartbombing bs’s) strategy that had previously been “money”. We ran into some snags with coordinating a couple hundred people that ranged from 1m sp to 100m sp that are not part of Agony to not bump the Titan, to keep fleet chat clear and to quit shooting each other. I am not going to share the recordings for that….lol…

The remote repping BS’s left from Stacmon to slowboat to the mouse trap, which was heavily trafficked by IT Alliance. Apparently they had been hitting POS’s all day and were expecting a response from PL (?), which ruined a bit of our “surprise” in my opinion since they had scouts all over Syndicate. Needless to say, we eventually wound up on the EZA gate in 6-CZ49 and were patiently awaiting to trigger to our plan. We would wait for the evil infidels to warp down to us at range and we would Titan bridge in a hundred and fifty people to the neighboring system. Needless to say things took a bit longer than expected with two hundred friendlies in multiple systems and awaiting the conclusion of the PvP Basic class and Alumni roam.

IT Alliance ultimately warped down to us to their optimals and our remote repping BS’s handled them for about seven minutes. The trap was perfect, but we ran into cyno issues in the target neighboring system, so the hundred and fifty people arrived about thirty seconds late via Titan bridge after the bait were decimated. Their were a few morsels of bait left, mainly myself and three other BS’s begging for the pounding. Once local spiked, IT Alliance warped to safes and it was a stalemate, which was typical based on the environment. The four of us that were left in a bubble sat there and chatted in voice coms, but forgot there were a shitload of IT Alliance peeps that hadn’t the same perspective (lol). Eventually IT Alliance decided to go balls-to-wall and landed on top of us, which spurred the additional hundred and fifty frigates and cruisers in the remaining Agony fleet to slam into the IT Alliance infidels.

The fight lasted another fifteen minutes and was ultimately held by IT Alliance. The typical good fights and all that shit were provided, which were the typical pleasantries. The fact that we weren’t Titan dropped by ten Titans was the real pleasantry in my opinion, which shows that Eve can still provide the occasional good fight /wo all the f*cking drama by all of you b1tches.

I digress….. :)

Fleet totals were roughly IT:140 vs Agony:160

Kill to Death ratio was won by IT, by a five to one ratio, THIS TIME B1TCHES. :cough:

Nah it's fine lol. Also I'm confused again you do mean editing posts like the ones we're making right now right? I know about editing battlereports but I'm still not seeing how to edit actual posts on the forums. After I click forums on the main page I don't have anything that says battle reports anywhere. It's probably some top-secret mod ability or something.
