BattleDB history:
Hubris and Ander are the two site  founders.
There’s not much of a history yet, although the initial idea was hatched after a lot of drunken brawling at the vegas eve meet.
Hubris got talked into making a better eve discussion area with more structured battlereport areas for reports and ingame politics discussion.
Some alliance leaders expressed a lot of support (although this may just have been drunken words spoken) but the idea was formed.
Hubris and Ander sat down and came up with some rough ideas for functionality and the way the site was supposed to work.
The domain was registered and DNS setup.. although 2 lazy months later the first ACTUAL work on the site code started.
